If you have time and are in downtown Nürnberg I definitely recommend to go for a nice home made fresh cake. Sometimes they have some cake without flour (not saying that is gluten-free due to the cross contamination) but their staple of that place and that you should try is their “cheese/quark” cake which is awesome, moist and has the perfect amount of sweetness. The coffee is made with love and carefully, which is appreciated. The place is always understaffed so that is the down side, you have to wait a long time to get a table, and take cash because they don’t accept card.

One of my favourite cafes in Nürnberg. A wide selection of loose leaf teas as well as coffee. And the cakes are homemade and delicious. Staff are lovely.

A cosy cafe away from touristy spot. We have ordered four cakes/pastries and coffee. The coffee is strong and goes very well with the cakes/pastries. Come here for the Dobos Torte but in the end love all the other cakes/pastries I've ordered. The cakes are not too sweet and the cream are light. The owner is very friendly and the shop is bright, clean with vase of flowers on every table. Good ambience and I highly recommend it.
